Initial Thoughts

Today I was introduced to the new VFX project titled Tragic Hero. We spoke about what makes a tragic hero and looked through some example. Using on example we filled out a document, diving deeper into their characteristics, flaws and eventual downfall. I started to loosely mindmap some initial tragic hero idea. Two ideas I am drawn to is a femme fatal character or a sea monster character. I think a sea monster would be more out of my comfort zone so I am considering that more so. My sea monster idea reminds me of the little mermaid story, which use to be a favourite of mine when I was a child. I think it would be interesting to create a more dark and disturbing version of the little mermaid.
